Via Ferrata

AOSTA VALLEY

Climbing in the

Aosta Valley Region

About 5 minutes from the center of Gressoney La Trinité is the nearest via ferrata. Steep walls, narrow ridges, small overhangs and cracks can be climbed through steps, iron handles and Tibetan bridges. The region has several climbing routes (Italian = Via Ferrata), which are easy to reach and equipped with good hooks in the rock. The “Ferrata delle Guide di Gressoney la trinite” is one of the opportunities we use for activities. It extends over more than 400 m at more than 2000 m altitude. From the culmination of our excursions, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley, the south side of Monte Rosa and the Margherita Hut (4554 m).
