AOSTA VALLEY

Jumping, climbing, swimming

Discover Chalamy

Thousands of years ago, in the Alps, water and melt made their way through rocks and mountains. Canyoning in the Aosta Valley offers many possibilities for a combination of abseiling, climbing, sliding, jumping, swimming and diving. This adventure is called canyoning or canyoning. The adrenaline rush is guaranteed: you climb the gorge at a high point and then make your way through the options above. Narrow rock passages, climbing sections with ropes and safety systems and deep water points await the participants! The experiment is led by an experienced guide and includes instructions on safety measures for course work and handling of required equipment.

CHALAMY CANYONING

The Aosta Valley, with the Chalamy Gorge (located in the Champdpraz Mont Avic Nature Park), is an excellent starting point for activities. The mountain offers an excellent combination of abseiling, water slides and swimming pools. There are also opportunities for fallbacks and climbing (for example near the bridge). There are about 5-12 abseiling, max. 30 m, as well as jumping possibilities available. This place is also suitable for children and teenagers to familiarize participants with the experience of canyoning. Here we run two different programs depending on the level of experience.

Aosta Valley Classic

With several natural slides and small jumps in the clear water holes of the mountains, the “classic” program offers many adventures for young and old. The river and the Chalamy gorge are in the Mont Natural Park Avic and is the affluent of the river Dora Baltea which flows in the Aosta Valley. We follow the canyon / river to the valley with many slides, jumps and abseiling for about three hours.
